Who We Are :

A Total Approach consists of a group of dedicated occupational therapists, speech language pathologists and DIR/Floortime Providers. Our core framework for therapy is based on sensory integration. We believe that each client has a distinct individual profile and that each intervention plan should be unique to the profile of the client.

Maude is opening The Maude Le Roux Academy in January 2019. She will be conducting online courses in addition to her live courses. There will be courses for parents and professionals. Check into www.maudeleroux.com late December 2018.

Our Mission :

• • At A Total Approach we believe that each client has a unique profile that is not determined by a diagnosis. Intervention is designed on both the strengths and weaknesses of each client

• • We believe that working with the family as a unit is very important with regards to the progress of the individual client

• • Based on scientific research, which proved that our brain remains plastic and pliable until the end of our lives, we believe in continuing to raise the bar on each client as each challenge presents itself

• • We emphasize continuing education for each staff member as well as cross training between different professionals to ensure quality therapy for each client.

• • Research into new advances with regards to treatments is an ongoing process and we continually add new programs.

• • We believe that caregivers need to be educated with regards to recent developments and taking care of the needs of their children as well as making appropriate next step decisions.

• • We provide internships, webinars and workshops for parents and professionals to keep equipping children and empowering parents and professionals

• • Our assessment and intervention protocols are unique, clear and available for training other professionals online
