    Sue has enjoyed being an Occupational Therapist for decades, and is continuing her groundbreaking work by focusing exclusively on the Tomatis® Method. 

    She strongly advocates review of the growing research into the effects of the Tomatis Method

    Listen for Change is dedicated exclusively to the practice of Tomatis® in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan areas, and beyond. We have seen great successes for many individuals and families. We’ve also been pioneers in using these methods in NICU and with premature babies.  We’re happy to schedule sessions in your home.

    Ms. Sue Sonkin has decades of experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a special interest in techniques that promote neuroplasticity. We have seen dramatic results for hundreds of clients. She is passionate about thoroughly assessing the needs of her clients in order to create truly customized Tomatis® programs. Ms. Sonkin provides all services personally, customizing and changing programs as necessary. 

    We are experienced in serving children and adults. Most commonly Ms. Sonkin works with individuals with ADD, autism, sensory integration, speech, voice and language issues.

    Professional singers, actors, and musicians have experienced dramatic improvements in their skills. The latest developments in her work includes wellness programs as referenced by the famous neuropsychiatrist Dr. Norman Doidge.
